winter weave
your lullabye –
let the moon forget
the stone
that was my promise
buried deep
pressed into another rhyme
white
embroidered rose –
dreams remain
of lines I’m sworn
to keep
of graces
held the longer
yearn for me
the same
while quiet waits
our willing to reveal
a poem
we were writing
verse defending verse
strings we thought were broken
echo still
when pulled
into some other life
a moment
love endured –
softer where
the dawn is wearing thru
tempted by
the passing –
of yellow leaves to rain
– as certain as
my falling
into you
. . .
Perfect. I like this even more than yesterday’s and I thought that was unbeatable.
🙂 lucky me………
You know, each verse can stand alone, each expressing a different view.
my multiple personalities, I suppose 🙂 Thank you, dear Stephen. ~ Love ever, Bobbie
perhaps so many pieces have been broken, that each time a different heart comes into being for you….
this could have been a conversation of mine from yesterday….though mine was not as eloquently flowing in, out and in between your lines…
even the music I hear fits somewhere in the verses ..*smile*
Beautiful….endearing to me in ways I have no words for, thank goodness you do…

I think (I know) only the bravest hearts are broken……for surely they love (and love and love)…….. and break ten thousand times – across the very same fault lines. In their healing, they are opened even wider. I love you, Maryrose. ~ Always, Bobbie
“winter weave
your lullabye –
let the moon forget”
But she does never forget as she makes a nightly journey to remind us of… 🙂
…….waking us gently with her silence………
I am deeply moved by your words as always! I can smile because how wonderfully written it is, yet I can also feel their sadness as it embraces me from afar. When one writes from the heart the way that you do, your feelings always show, and it will be a little different every time we write and share depending on our inner mood. But even then you always pen such masterpieces. And by time you read this, you will have written something so beautifully upbeat. Which makes you an awesome poet my sister…you words do touch the soul! Have a wonderful and blessed Sunday!
