time has passed
but not for me –
the tower bell still rings
and roses blush
where once you walked
with me
of moments
not so many –
tho lifetimes now it seems
between the touch
of letting go
remembered us to
dreams
I can’t be sure
(I know you know)
I will live again –
for you
echoes fill the loving dawn
as lonely falls
the dew
Author’s Note: Written for two extraordinary women –
both who suffered losses a year ago today.
May you be blessed and may this day
be a celebration of life and love that found its way
to your door. May you live within the hope
for another spring.
. . .
without a doubt there are endless Springs for them!
for us all…………. 🙂 Love you, Debbie. ~ Thank you! ~ Ever, Bobbie
As will we all, they will find their loved ones again, in another place, another time. This was really wonderful, Bobbie, a touching tribute written with real sensitivity.
~~Always~~
Paul
I’ve often wondered what comfort comes to those without faith, what takes the place of looking forward to another sweet reunion. I’m not sure I could do it, or even imagine a future without hope. Thank you, Paul. ~ Much love always, Bobbie
Sentimentally, I find this to be one of your most beautiful poems! The tender touch of your words always seem to leave their blossoming magic to last long after the poem is read! The poem is so richly blessed with your treasured spirit! Beautifully done Bobbie!
