of wisdom -
longing makes a plan
and scratches there
our name
in blocks of time
given more
than giving back
letting go
to let
choice before the choosing
comes again
beneath the want
of wandering -
are dreams we know by heart
echoes of a once
familiar song -
played on silken chords
ringing without sound -
when wished upon a moon
we couldn’t see
before and since
of all we are -
reversing now the tides
are tears -
we thought were washing
us away
come the sigh
we breathed into -
matching with our own
blessings pass
unnoticed
to our light
